The Magic Of Photoshop!

The Magic of Photoshop!

The below pictures show the magic of Photoshop! We are pretty sure you all know Photoshop has amazing features which are capable of dramatically changing and improving the content and quality of pictures.

The first picture below was taking during our most recent visit to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. We adjusted the camera settings while in one exhibition but forgot to change it when we took the below picture. When we arrived at home, we realized what we had done. So, we decided to see what Photoshop can do.

And to our surprise and amazement, this is what happened…

And this…

Certainly, not the best picture ever but to have it move from unrecognizable to recognizable is extremely impressive!

Don’t you think?

We are thrilled we were able to salvage what we thought was a loss and make a picture out of, well, darkness!

We love the magic of Photoshop!

Summer Candy!

Summer fruits are the best candy …the natural kind!

We frequent local farmers’ markets – such joy! For us, it is better than the supermarkets. We load into our vehicle, strap our excited selves in seat belts and begin to add to our already long list which we created days prior as things ran out. We add new items we want to try. We are thrilled our daughter finds it an event and loves fruits and some vegetables. She recently discovered she loves raw brussels sprout leaves in salads. She loves them grilled, too.  Right now, it is time to go, again! We are running low; only one fruit bowl is in use and the refrigerator seems less colorful.  Bunches of herbs are now scrawny, we are completely out of lemons, one more spaghetti squash, one more bunch of broccoli, one more bag of hormone-free chicken and the fish finished days ago!  Just about everything is gone! Gobbled up! So much so we had to run to the local supermarket for a bunch of bananas yesterday.  Since we prepare old-fashioned oatmeal without sugar, we like to add sweetness from fruits – and yes, we devoured the peaches, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries days ago. While raisins and honey are good options, fresh fruits and nuts simply look better on top of a bowl of oats.

Today, we cut into the watermelon. Simply delicious! And it is seedless so we ate without pause and it is large so we ate with greed. The remainder is chopped into medium-sized cubes in the refrigerator.  They wink at us each time we open the door and each time we feel we need more. There is chocolate yogurt behind the freezer door which sits on the left of the refrigerator door – all we have to do is pull the handle less than 2 inches away…

…and we have not paid it any mind today!

Fruits are sweet gifts from nature! They are summer candy! Yum!
