Coloring Time!

Coloring Time!

Do you remember how fun coloring time was when you were a young child?

We think this bunch of wood colored pencils is a wonderful gift to slip into the stockings of the nice and not naughty creatives in your life.

Coloring Time!We love them and think they will, too, when they dig into their stockings. Or, maybe just buy them for you. They are good for decoration, if nothing else. Pencils found at World Market.

As today is the eve of Christmas, we hope you are finished shopping. If not, pack snacks, the lines will be miles long.

Merry Christmas Eve!

Two Days After!

How are you doing two days after?

We seem to consume almost the same amount of food the day after and even two days after Thanksgiving Day as we do on Thanksgiving Day! Even though we knew a good move was to tie ours sneakers and work out, mashed potatoes for breakfast seemed like a great idea! Cranberry sauce, cookies and cake were perfect snacks. Every food item was warmed and eaten for lunch (not on Friday – we were busy Black Friday-ing. Scored on big-ticket items!!!). Now, two days after and after apple pie, and ice cream following dinner, we are “over it”, just exhausted with chomping in excess. We are longing for fruits and vegetables only! The plan is to toss the turkey in a tall pot and make soup with lots of water, carrots, celery – no potatoes! During the upcoming week, moments of bravery will encourage us to slowly nibble away at the other leftovers only because maybe after a three-day sabbatical, leftovers will be resemble “delicious,” again. For now, no more! Just fruits and vegetables – and water! We ran to the store and stocked up on blackberries, strawberries, cranberries, blueberries and bananas – to make sure tomorrow begins just right!

Time To Get Moving

Now that our bellies overworked and survived yesterday’s Thanksgiving Day feast workout, it is time to get moving…

…jump on the bike, hit the pavement running “hard” or your choice of exercise. It is time to sweat, time to workout, time to burn off those calories! Have fun like you did yesterday when you ate “hard!”

Does shopping on Black Friday count, walking up and down the shopping mall? Sadly, probably not enough to make a dent! Good news: You can do both!
